As you accumulate information - you’ll need a place to document it in a way that you can share with your family. Family Tree Magazine published an interesting article in 2012 that explains how you can get your Family History Book into Libraries. Some other options include: Create a Facebook group with your family. This is a great way to share pictures, stories (which the family can contribute themselves). You can even upload documents. Several family tree software packages, including Family Tree Maker, allow you to create a book or write up to document your story.  These integrate well with the family tree, but you can also export them to a document which you can upload to your Facebook group or e-mail to the family. If you are tech savvy, create your own website to share the content. This will require more work for you, but gives you a great deal of control over the format and flow of the story.
